Our community guidelines are designed to ensure that DIU Blood Bank remains a safe, respectful, and efficient platform for everyone. By using our platform, you agree to follow these guidelines.
For Blood Donors
Accurate Information: Provide truthful and up-to-date information about your blood type, contact details, and availability.
Health Requirements: Ensure you meet the basic health requirements for blood donation (age 18-65, weight above 50kg, healthy condition).
Availability Status: Keep your availability status updated. Mark yourself unavailable if you've recently donated or are unable to donate.
Response Time: If you mark yourself as available, please respond to requests promptly and professionally.
Donation Interval: Wait at least 3-4 months between donations to ensure your health and safety.
For Blood Requesters
Genuine Requests: Only post genuine blood requests. False or spam requests will result in account suspension.
Complete Information: Provide all necessary details including patient name, blood type, hospital, contact number, and urgency level.
Update Status: Mark your request as fulfilled once you receive the required blood to avoid unnecessary contacts.
Respectful Communication: Be polite and respectful when contacting donors. Remember, they are volunteering to help.
No Duplicate Posts: Avoid posting multiple requests for the same patient. Update the existing request instead.
General Conduct
Respect Privacy: Do not share others' personal information without their consent.
No Harassment: Any form of harassment, bullying, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
No Commercial Use: This platform is for humanitarian purposes only. Commercial blood trading is strictly prohibited.
Report Issues: If you encounter any problems or violations, please report them to the administrators immediately.
Account Security: Keep your login credentials secure. Do not share your account with others.
Violations & Consequences
Violations of these guidelines may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent ban from the platform, depending on the severity. We reserve the right to take appropriate action to maintain the integrity and safety of our community.
